According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated trash collection and segregation device, comprising a cuboidal body 1 positioned on a ground surface, a touch enabled screen 2 for inputting commands for collecting trash from surface, a camera 3 detects presence of trash on surface, four motorized omnidirectional wheels 4 maneuver body 1 near trash, two C-shaped members 5 are deployed by a motorized hinge 6 in a manner to collect trash between members 5, an electromagnet configured with each of members 5 for adhering metallic objects present in trash, two motorized pivot joints 8 configured between rods 7 and body 1 for positioning members 5 over a first chamber 9, a conveyer 10 for translating metallic objects in a second chamber 12 which are compressed by two hydraulic pushers 13, a weight sensor detects weight of non-metallic and metallic objects, and an alert on a computing unit for notifying user to collect trashes."
