MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010787 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'automated tyre health monitoring device.'
Inventor(s) include Aneesh Goyal; Kushal Kaundal; Pratyush Sharma; Rishab Gupta; Rishabh Rana; and Anmol Bhalla.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated tyre health monitoring device, includes a cuboidal shaped body 1 developed to be installed on rim portion of a vehicle's tire, plurality of suction cups 2 mounted on body 1 for fixing body 1 on rim, a sensing module 3 mapped on body 1 detects tire's health parameters, a computing unit 4 that is user accessible notifies about detected data through an installed user interface, a speaker 5 mounted on body 1 to notify nearby user, a robotic gripper 6 positioned on body 1 grips and engage a nozzle 7 linked with a inflating unit 8 to inflate the tire, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 9 installed on body 1 captures and processes images of rim to detect mud on rim and a robotic link 10 attached on body 1, synced with a flap 11 that scrapes mud from rim of tire."
