MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019283 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'automated utensil cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Ratish Sharma.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated utensil cleaning device includes a disc 1 configured with a member 3 via a link 4 positioned in a utensil to be cleaned, a laser acuity sensor configured on member 3 for detecting utensil's diameter accordingly an arrangement 5 integrated with member 3 regulates member's 3 diameter for positioning in contact with inner walls, a camera 6 detects material type of utensil, an unit 7 configured with set of bristles 8, 9, extend to position in contact with outer walls, nozzles 10, 11 configured on disc 1 and unit 7, respectively dispenses cleaning solution on inner and outer walls, a motor 13 rotates disc 1 for scrubbing of inner walls and outer walls for removing stains from utensil, valves 14, 15 configured on disc 1 and unit 7, respectively, dispenses water on inner and outer walls to rinse utensil, a arm 17 wipes utensil via cloth 18."
