MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018816 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'automated utensil manufacturing device.'
Inventor(s) include Ajay Rastogi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated utensil manufacturing device, comprising, a cuboidal shaped housing 1 carved with an inlet 2 to insert a metallic sheet on a platform 3, a touch interactive display panel 4 accessed by user to input number of utensils needed and dimension of utensils, a first robotic gripper 5 placed sheet on a primary conveyor 6 which translates sheet into a container 7, a sensing module determines quality of sheet, a first pusher 8 pushes out sheet out of container 7, a second pusher 9 translates good sheet in a furnace 10, a heating unit heats sheet, two second robotic grippers 11 places sheet over a plate, two third robotic grippers 13 place sheet over a rotatable disc 16, a cutter 14 and a filer cut sheet in circular shape, further third grippers place sheet under a hydraulic press 17 to press sheet to provide hemi-spherical shape."
