MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441012954 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 22, 2024, for 'automated vehicle locking device.'
Inventor(s) include Azhar Hussain Mozumder.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated vehicle locking device, comprises of a frame having a first and second portion (1, 2) developed to be positioned in proximity to a four-wheeler vehicle, a motorized hinge 3 to tilt and deploy the first and second portion (1, 2) over the surface, an artificial intelligence based image capturing module 4 for capturing the image of rim portion of a vehicle tire, a pair of L-shaped hydraulically operated rod 5 for extending to grip the rim portion firmly, a ball and socket joint 7 for maintaining orientation of the rod 5 with respect to surface, an electromagnetic locking unit 6 for locking the rim in secured manner, and a finger print sensor 8 for authenticating the user."
