MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010728 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'automated vehicle maintenance system.'

Inventor(s) include Pradeep Kumar Shah; and Arun Gupta.

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated vehicle maintenance system, comprising a housing 1 configured with telescopic rods 2 that provides support to housing 1, multiple primary motorized wheels 3 are attached with rods 2 for providing movement to housing 1, a push button 4 assembled on housing 1 for enabling user to input command regarding activation of system, a first robotic gripper 7 for withdrawing removing dipstick from engine bay, a cuboidal body 10 associated with system and initially arranged within housing 1 for removing oil drain plug by means of a second robotic gripper 12, a vessel 13 connected with body 10 for receiving drained oil, a touch interactive display panel 14 for enabling user to input details regarding a quantity of engine oil to be refilled into reservoir and an electronic nozzle 15 connected with a chamber 16 arranged within housing 1 for dispensing fresh engine oil into reservoir."
