MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311079873 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Nov. 24, 2023, for 'automated ventilation assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Deeksha Verma.

The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated ventilation assistive device, comprising a frame 1 having a first and second portion 2, 3 developed to be installed on a ventilation window of an enclosure, herein first portion 2 is integrated with a rod 4 that is positioned over a sill of window by means of a suction unit 5 arranged underneath rod 4, an imaging unit 6 is installed on first portion 2 for capturing multiple surrounding images, a telescopically operated bar 7 connected at apex of rod 4 by means of a hydraulically powered hinge arrangement 8 to get extended/retracted for supporting panel, a suction cup 9 for affixing bar 7 over base of window panel, an oxygen concentration sensor is mapped on frame 1 for monitoring concentration of oxygen within enclosure and an exhaust fan 10 for facilitating air circulation within enclosure."
