MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006195 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'automated wall-putty application device.'
Inventor(s) include Saumya Rajvanshi; Dr. Amanpreet Kaur; Gaurav Goel; Divyansh Gera; Dripti Mehta; and Dr. Saurabh Chaitanya.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated wall-putty application device, comprising a housing 1 developed to be positioned underneath an edge of ceiling, a touch enabled screen 2 for enabling user to input commands regarding length up-till which wall-putty to be applied, a camera 3 mounted on housing 1 for capturing images of ceiling edge, an L-shaped extendable plate 4 installed with housing 1 via a hollow telescopically operated rod 5 for positioning plate 4, multiple iris pores 7 crafted with each of chambers 6 to open for dispensing powder and water in a container 8 installed underneath chambers 6, a motorized stirrer 9 container 8 for stirring powder and water to prepare wall-putty, an 10 installed with plate 4 for dispensing wall-putty on ceiling edge and multiple motorized omnidirectional wheels 13 configured underneath housing 1 for maneuvering housing 1."
