MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411011084 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 16, 2024, for 'automated wheel movement prevention device.'
Inventor(s) include Shelendra Pal; and Kul Bhushan Anand.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated wheel movement prevention device, comprises of a frame 1 utilize to position between two-cascaded double wheels of a vehicle parked on a ground surface, an imaging unit 2 mounted on the frame 1 for capturing and processing images of surroundings of the frame 1, at least four motorized helical gear arrangement 3 integrated within the frame 1 for providing movement to at least four expandable arms 4 connected with each of the arrangement 3 towards the wheels for locking the wheels, an angle sensor mapped on the frame 1 for detecting inclination angle of the surface, at least two telescopic bars 5 arranged on the frame 1 for extending towards the wheels that aids in locking the wheels, and an electronic nozzle 7 connected with a chamber 8 installed on the frame 1 for dispensing the molten rubber on detected crack to maintain condition of the tyre."
