MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411006212 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 30, 2024, for 'automated whisk cleaning device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Mohit Srivastava; Dr. Vinay Bhatia; Aniket; and Priya Ranjan.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 1, under issue no. 31/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated whisk cleaning device, comprising a platform 1 configured with a circular plate 2 carved with plurality of slits 3, via an elongated member 4 and a whisk is manually positioned on platform 1 in upright position in a manner to pass handle via an opening, a touch enabled screen 5 accessed by to give input commands for cleaning whisk, a camera 6 detects thickness of tines, a viscosity sensor detects viscosity of food item left over whisk, an electronic nozzle 8 connected with water chamber 7 for dispensing water on tines for soaking food item, two telescopically operated links 9 configured within each slits 3 which extend and positions a cushion pad 10 equipped with each link 9 in contact with tines, and followed by which a motorized slider 11 translates plate 2 towards platform 1 for removing left over food from tines via cushion pad 10."
