MUMBAI, India, Aug. 1 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411005861 A) filed by Chandigarh Group Of Colleges, Mohali, Punjab, on Jan. 29, 2024, for 'automated window glass adjusting device for four-wheeler vehicles.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated window glass adjusting device for four-wheeler vehicles comprises of a frame 1 installed on a window adjustor button panel assembled on door of a four-wheeler vehicle, an imaging unit 2 for determining dimensions of panel, multiple telescopically operated rods 3 mounted on frame 1 to extend for properly getting accommodated on panel, a microphone 4 for receiving voice commands of user regarding opening of window, multiple plates 5 installed horizontally and vertically on rods 3 via a motorized sliding unit 6 that translates plates 5 in a manner that a particular button is exposed for allowing user to press button to open/close four-wheeler's window glass, a cylindrical member 7 arranged with a telescopically operated link 8 that extends for applying a quick or continuous pressure on button by means of a block 9 in order to power open or adjust window glass."
