MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411019155 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 15, 2024, for 'automated wire cutting device.'
Inventor(s) include Ramesh Chandra Tripathi.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated wire cutting device, comprising an elongated extendable body 1 having a proximal and distal end configured with a handle 2, a pair of curved shaped members 3 configured on the body 1 for moving towards/away from each other as required, an imaging unit 4 installed on the body 1 monitoring distance of the surfaces from the members 3, plurality of motorized rollers 5 embedded over outer periphery of the members 3 to aid the body 1 in inserting the members 3 between the surfaces, a motorized disc 6 installed between the members 3 and body 1 to regulate angle of the members 3, a motorized chainsaw 7 configured on the members 3 for cutting a wire and a speaker 8 installed over the body 1 for notifying a user."
