MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441014213 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'automated wooden workpiece shaping device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated wooden workpiece shaping device, comprising a housing 1 crafted with an inlet 4 to insert a wooden workpiece inside housing 1 which is detected by an IR (Infrared) sensor mapped inside housing 1, three to four pneumatically operated blocks 5 extend to secure workpiece, a water reservoir 6 mapped in housing 1 for storing water, a heating unit integrated in reservoir 6 which generates heat to generate steam inside reservoir 6, multiple electronic nozzle 7 dispense steam on workpiece, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 8 installed inside housing 1 which determines size and dimension of workpiece, a robotic gripper 9 assembled inside housing 1 for placing workpiece over a curve shaped platform 12 installed in housing 1 as detected by a touch sensor mapped on platform 12, and a telescopic pusher 10 assembled inside housing 1 for extending to push workpiece to bend workpiece."
