According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automated zebra crossing marking device, comprising a body arranged with a touch interactive display panel 2 which is accessed by a user for providing input regarding dimensions of a zebra crossing to be marked, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 determines dimensions of road stretch, a tactile sensor detects hardness of surface, a laser measurement sensor determines dimensions on surface, plurality of motorized wheels 4 maneuver body over surface, a telescopically operated L-shaped rod 5 extends for positioning two plates 6 on surface and followed by actuation of links 7 to extend for maintaining an optimum gapping in between plates 6, an electronically controlled nozzle 8 dispenses paint in between plates 6 whose thickness is determined by an ultrasonic sensor integrated underneath body, and a telescopically operated bar 11 extend/retract for positioning flap 10 on surface for spreading paint on surface."
