MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202311084639 A) filed by Lg Electronics Inc., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Dec. 12, 2023, for 'automatic adjustment of sunroof of a vehicle.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "[0001] A system (100) and a method for automatic adjustment of sunroof of a vehicle. The method includes obtaining information related to at least one of: intrinsic and extrinsic factors associated with the vehicle, from one or more data sources installed on the vehicle, the intrinsic and extrinsic factors include at least one of: one or more external weather parameters and one or more vehicle parameters. Next, determining one or more ambient conditions associated with the vehicle, based on the obtained information. Next, determining an appropriate position of the sunroof based on the determined one or more ambient conditions. Thereafter, adjusting the position of the sunroof to the determined position based on pre-defined settings associated with the adjustment of the sunroof."
