MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411010722 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 15, 2024, for 'automatic object lifting and relocating device.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automatic object lifting and relocating device, comprising an elongated frame 1 configured with a base plate 2 that provides support to frame 1, an artificial intelligence based imaging unit 4 determines presence of heavy object for directing a telescopic bar 5 to extend to position a motorized clamping unit 6 in proximity of hook, an ultrasonic sensor detecting distance between hook and clamping unit 6 for actuating a clamping unit 6 to grip object appropriately, a weight sensor detecting engaging of hook with clamping unit 6 for actuating a motorized pivot joint 8 for providing movement to bar 5, followed by actuation of hydraulically powered telescopic rod 9 to extend for lifting object, and touch interactive display panel 10 for enabling user to provide input details regarding a location towards to relocate object for actuating wheels 3 to move plate 2 to relocate object towards user specified location."
