MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411011274 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Feb. 19, 2024, for 'automatic weather shielding device for outdoor shops.'
Inventor(s) include Ashendra Kumar Saxena; and Sunil Kumar Gaur.
The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "An automatic weather shielding device for outdoor shops, comprising a frame 1 installed on wall by means of two suction units 2, a microphone 3 assembled on frame 1 for feeding command regarding requirement of a shelter, a motorized sliding unit 4 arranged on frame 1 for deploying three covering plates 7, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 5 installed on frame 1 to determine dimension of wall, a pair of telescopic rods 6 arranged between plates 7 and sliding unit 4 for retracting to expand plates 7 to protecting surface, a sensing module for detecting rain/ sun intensity on frame 1 and if detected then sliding unit 4 and rods 6 deploys and expands plates 7 to completely cover frame 1, a weight sensor for detecting weight of deployed plates 7, and a pair of telescopic bars 8 arranged on frame 1 for providing support to frame 1."
