MUMBAI, India, Feb. 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541133304 A) filed by Dr. Mahalingam College Of Engineering And Technnology, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, on Dec. 30, 2025, for 'autonomous micro green cultivation system.'
Inventor(s) include K. R. Gokul Anand; Dharani. S; and. K. C. Rajarajeswari.
The application for the patent was published on Feb. 27, under issue no. 09/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present stated invention governs micro green cultivation in terms of sprouting of leaves alone without harnessing the fundamental principle of germination. The system equips with grow light LED for photosynthesis cycle in an organized manner to acquire necessary number of leaves in the sprouts. To achieve this the system uses rotational unit followed by user defined speed system by user interface unit. The system operates in both autonomous as well as manual mode to address the interest of cultivator. The alert system possessing buzzer and button gives common notification on the growth rate of the sprouts. On the whole the system acts as the user friendly, viable germinating platform for healthy sprout cultivation."
