According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Over the past few years, there has been a strong demand for sophisticated and self-governing surveillance systems, especially in remote and sensitive areas of the borders. In this project, the design and development of an Autonomous Surveillance Vehicle (ASV) that can traverse various terrain types such as rough, sandy, rocky, and uneven surfaces would be carried out with respect to border security and reconnaissance. The suggested ASV will not require human intervention; its operation will rely on an internal set of sensors, cameras, and navigation algorithms to monitor, identify, and store movements in its environment. The vehicle has the capability of working in a vast variety of surroundings with an all-terrain chassis that is designed to be used in rocky and sandy areas, as well as muddy or uneven paths. The chassis is also designed in such a way that it offers high ground clearance, excellent stability, and excellent shock absorption such that the vehicle can handle obstacles, slopes, and rough surfaces."
