MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011910 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 12, for 'bangle manufacturing device.'

Inventor(s) include Dr. Swetarani Biswal.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A bangle manufacturing device, comprises of a cuboidal housing 101 having four telescopic rods 102 mounted underneath the housing 101 with omnidirectional motorized wheels 103 for a locomotion of the housing 101, a chamber 104 provided in the housing 101 for storing of elongated plastic tubes from which bangles are manufactured, a microphone 117 for receiving an audio command from the user regarding gripping a tube for manufacturing bangles, a rigid L-shaped member 105 having motorized roller 106 and multiple pneumatic pins 107 mounted on roller 106 having a suction cup 108 at an end, for gripping and holding the tube on the roller 106, an L-shaped telescopic bar 110 having sharp wedged shaped flap 111 for removing excess material from lateral surface of the tube being rotated by roller 106, and an imaging unit 113, in synchronization with an ultrasonic sensor to determine dimensions of the tube."
