MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441013517 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 24, 2024, for 'bathing assistive device for toddler.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A bathing assistive device for toddler, comprising a platform 1 configured with a circular plate 13 to accommodate a toddler, a camera 4 detects toddler's height and accordingly telescopically operated rod 3 extends for allowing toddler to comfortably grip a semi-circular member 2 as support, an extendable bar 5 extends and positions two straps 6 near torso region of toddler which is fastened around torso of toddler as detected by a touch sensor, a motorized roller for tightening straps 6, a telescopically operated link 7 extends and positions a toy 8 near toddler such that toddler tries to catch toy 8, for loosening toddler's grip from member 2, a pair of motorized circular sliders 9 rotates and positions link 7 and bar 5 towards second side of platform 1, a electric motor rotates plate 13 for changing orientation of toddler for allowing user to clean toddler's front portion."
