MUMBAI, India, July 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517057635 A) filed by Ningde Amperex Technology Limited; and Dongguan Nvt Technology Limited, Fujian, China, on June 16, for 'battery and electrical device.'
Inventor(s) include Zhang, Guowen.
The application for the patent was published on July 4, under issue no. 27/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery, comprising an electrode assembly, a housing, a first electrical connecting member, and a circuit board assembly. The electrode assembly is accommodated in the housing. The housing comprises a first recess recessed towards the electrode assembly. The first electrical connecting member and the first recess are electrically connected to the electrode assembly separately. The circuit board assembly comprises a substrate, a first conductive member, a second conductive member, and a third conductive member, wherein the substrate is provided in the first recess, the first conductive member is electrically connected to the substrate and at least partially extends out of the first recess, the second conductive member is electrically connected between the first conductive member and the first electrical connecting member, and the third conductive member is electrically connected between the first conductive member and the first recess. Also provided is an electrical device comprising the battery. In the battery and the electrical device, a space for accommodating the substrate is formed in the first recess outside the housing, so as to reduce the space occupied during relative arrangement of the housing and the substrate and the space occupied during overlapping connection of the first electrical connecting member and the substrate, so that the space waste of the battery can be comprehensively reduced, thereby improving the energy density of the battery."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 07, 2023, under International application No.PCT/CN2023/130129.
