MUMBAI, India, Nov. 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517044121 A) filed by Global Mobility Service Inc., Tokyo, on May 7, for 'battery device.'

Inventor(s) include Hashimoto Nobuyuki; Hagishima Koichi; and Nakashima Tokushi.

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 7, under issue no. 45/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The purpose of the present invention is to identify stolen position information. A battery device 10 according to one embodiment comprises: a detection unit 15A that detects that the battery device 10 has been removed from an electric vehicle 1; and a communication unit 15B that transmits, to a server 20, position information pertaining to the battery device 10 when the detection unit 15A has detected that the battery device 10 has been removed from the electric vehicle 1."
