MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517009777 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 6, for 'battery inspection device.'

Inventor(s) include Kim, Ji-Won; and Kim, Tae-Young.

The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery inspection device according to the present invention comprises: an upper inspection unit including a first lens module that condenses first light, and a first camera mounted above the first lens module; a lower inspection unit including a second lens module which is disposed horizontally spaced apart from the first lens module and condenses second light incident from an inspection object, and a second camera mounted above the second lens module; and an optical path guide unit which is integrally coupled to the first lens module and the second lens module and configured to split incident light incident from the inspection object, into the first light and the second light, and guide the first light to the first lens module and guide the second light to the second lens module."

The patent application was internationally filed on Dec. 12, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/020453.
