MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517054852 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on June 6, for 'battery module, battery pack including same, and vehicle including same.'
Inventor(s) include Park, Jeong-Hoon; Choi, Wan-Sup; Han, Min-Hee; Han, Seung-Won; and Jung, Hye-Mi.
The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Disclosed are a battery module and a battery pack and vehicle including same. The battery module according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a battery cell stack in which a plurality of battery cells are stacked; a case which accommodates the battery cell stack and has a first outlet through which gas is discharged; and an exhaust path member which couples to the case to provide a discharge path for the gas, is provided so as to discharge the gas but prevent flame leakage, and has a second outlet, wherein the exhaust path member is configured to allow the gas to move in a linear direction."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 24, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/019163.
