MUMBAI, India, March 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202514078211 A) filed by Aesc Japan Ltd., Kanagawa, Japan, on Aug. 18, 2025, for 'battery module and battery pack.'

The application for the patent was published on March 13, under issue no. 11/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A battery module and a battery pack are provided. The battery module includes a casing (1) having an opening, a cell stack (2) having a tab side and mounted in the casing (1), and an adhesive block (3) filled at the opening to block the opening. A tab side of the cell stack (2) corresponds to the opening. The adhesive block (3) covers the tab side of the cell stack (2). An outer wall of the adhesive block (3) forms a portion of an outer wall of the battery module."
