MUMBAI, India, June 6 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517039483 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on April 24, for 'battery pack and vehicle comprising same.'
Inventor(s) include Hur, Nam Hoon; Shin, Ju-Hwan; Yang, Chang-Hyeon; Lee, Jae-Hyun; and Lee, Hyoung-Suk.
The application for the patent was published on June 6, under issue no. 23/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention provides a battery pack configured such that, when gas is generated inside a battery module, high temperature gas can be discharged to the outside of the battery pack without affecting another nearby battery module. The battery pack according to one mode of the invention may comprise a pack housing, a first battery module, a second battery module, and a pack cover."
The patent application was internationally filed on Nov. 06, 2023, under International application No.PCT/KR2023/017697.
