MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024051 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 26, 2024, for 'beach sand cleaning device.'

Inventor(s) include Krishan Kumar Yadav; and Dr. Suyash Kumar Srivastava.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A beach sand cleaning device, comprising a platform 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface of a beach, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 installed on the platform 1 to monitor surrounding of the platform 1, a pair of plates 3 arranged on front side of the platform 1 to deploy towards the surface, a conveyor belt 4 mounted on the platform 1 for accommodating translated sand, an inverted U-shaped structure 5 mounted on the platform 1 configured with plurality of electrodes 6 for attracting the detected plastic debris from the translated sand and a container 7 arranged on lateral sides of the structure 5 for depositing the debris."
