MUMBAI, India, Oct. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026629 A) filed by Shobhit Institute Of Engineering & Technology, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, on March 30, 2024, for 'bent iron nail removing device for wooden workpiece.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A bent iron nail removing device for wooden work piece comprises a platform 1 accommodates a wooden workpiece such that the slab is to be positioned underneath an inverted-shaped frame 2 installed on the platform 1, a touch enabled screen 3 for user input commands, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 4 detects exact location of the iron nail, a pair of motorized sliders 5 configured between the platform 1 and frame 2 for translating and aligning the frame 2 on the iron nail, an L-shaped telescopically operated rod 6 suspended from the frame 2 for positioning a wedge-shaped blade 7, a motorized hinge 8 configured between the rod 6 and blade 7 tilts the blade 7 with respect to the rod 6, and a C-shaped motorized expandable clamp 9 suspended from the frame 2 via a telescopically operated bar 10 for positioning the clamp 9."
