MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517074233 A) filed by Suntory Holdings Limited, Osaka, Japan, on Aug. 4, for 'beverage filled into spray container.'
Inventor(s) include Osada, Tomoya; Fujiwara, Yasuko; and Soguchi, Akira.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The purpose of the present invention is to provide a beverage that is filled into a spray container, that provides a satisfying sensation when drunk, and that provides a sensation of astringency. Provided is a beverage, said beverage being adjusted to satisfy the followings conditions (a) to (c): (a) water activity is not less than 0.94; (b) sweetness is 4-30 and/or acidity is 0.005-6.0; and (c) the beverage is filled into an aerosol spray container or a pump-type spray container for which the amount of spray per press is not less than 0.3 mL."
The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 29, 2024, under International application No.PCT/JP2024/002617.
