MUMBAI, India, Oct. 11 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517066542 A) filed by Hanbio Co. Ltd., Gyeongsangnam, Republic of Korea, on July 11, for 'bird damage-preventing composition.'

Inventor(s) include Han, In Yul; and Park, Seong Oung.

The application for the patent was published on Oct. 10, under issue no. 41/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a bird damage-preventing composition comprising an ultraviolet ray blocking agent comprising zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, and a thanaka tree extract. The bird damage-preventing composition may restrict the field of view of birds, by which the birds recognize seeds of crops, and thus may reduce bird damage occurring at a crop cultivation site."

The patent application was internationally filed on Jan. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/000641.
