MUMBAI, India, Jan. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541124748 A) filed by Anurag Engineering College, Kodad, Telangana, on Dec. 10, 2025, for 'blockchain-driven digital twin synchronization for industrial iot applications.'
Inventor(s) include N. Shiva Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on Jan. 2, under issue no. 01/2026.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention discloses a blockchain-driven digital twin synchronization system (100) that enables secure, decentralized, and auditable interaction between a physical industrial asset and its digital twin. The system includes a Physical Asset & IIoT Layer (101) generating operational data, a Secure Gateway & Edge Layer (102) performing cryptographic signing and command validation, and a Blockchain Trust & Coordination Layer (103) comprising a Distributed Ledger (103A), Smart Contract Suite (103B), and Consensus Network Nodes (103C) for verifying state updates and control commands. A Digital Twin Layer (104) updates its model exclusively from consensus-approved blockchain data and performs simulations and analytics, while an Application & Integration Layer (105) provides user and enterprise access. The Physical-to-Digital Loop (106) ensures authenticated data synchronization, and the Digital-to-Physical Loop (107) ensures secure command execution. The system ensures data integrity, traceability, and trustworthy closed-loop automation for industrial cyber-physical environments."
