MUMBAI, India, July 25 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517065457 A) filed by Omron Healthcare Co. Ltd., Kyoto, Japan, on July 9, for 'blood pressure measurement device.'

Inventor(s) include Harada, Masaki; Brigham, Brian; Sano, Yoshihiko; Tokko, Yoshihide; and Suzuki, Gen.

The application for the patent was published on July 25, under issue no. 30/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "This blood pressure measurement device (1) comprises: a device body (3); a first cuff (4) which is provided to the device body (3) and presses a living body (30); a band (6) which is provided on the outer surface side of the first cuff (4) and is wound around the living body (300); and a restricting member (7) which restricts a width-direction relative movement between the first cuff (4) and the band (6) and allows a length-direction relative movement between the first cuff (4) and the band (6)."
