MUMBAI, India, Jan. 9 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521105809 A) filed by Sayli R. Guru; Dr. Urvashi P. Manik; and Dr. Amol V. Nande, Chandrapur, Maharashtra, on Nov. 1, 2025, for 'blue nanophosphor of doped potassium aluminum phosphate for improved efficiency white light emitting diodes.'

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Blue nanophosphor of doped potassium Aluminum phosphate for improved efficiency White Light-Emitting Diodes Blue nanophosphor of doped potassium Aluminum phosphate for improved eefficiency White Light-Emitting Diodes has been developed in the present invention. The in situ microwave combustion process is used for the synthesis of the said nano-phosphor. The host lattice is KaAlP2O7 and Actuator is Eu2+. The series of KAlP2O7:x%Eu2+ has been prepared. The blue nanophosphor of the present invention is emitting blue light and compatible to be used in WLED, the said nanophosphor has wide range thermal stability and consistency in morphology with improved luminescence efficiency."
