MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411013959 A) filed by Hyundai Motor Company; and Kia Corporation, Seoul, Republic of Korea, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'bluetooth connection method and bluetooth connection system.'

Inventor(s) include Mecheri Ravisubramanian, Gowri Shankar.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A method according to a feature of the present disclosure is a Bluetooth connection method which is performed by a processor, comprises starting a terminal connection mode to connect a user terminal to a Bluetooth module by Bluetooth pairing when the user terminal is recognized by a near field communication (NFC) module, wirelessly charging the user terminal by supplying power to the user terminal via the NFC module, turning on the Bluetooth module when the Bluetooth module is off at the time when the user terminal is recognized by the NFC module, connecting the Bluetooth module to the user terminal by Bluetooth pairing, on the basis of whether the user terminal is on a terminal list, and terminating the terminal connection mode when the Bluetooth pairing is completed."
