MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411018818 A) filed by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on March 14, 2024, for 'body balance maintaining assistive device.'

Inventor(s) include Yash Chandra Gangwar.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A body balance maintaining assistive device, comprising a cuboidal frame 1 positioned over an inclined surface, a platform 2 is configured over the frame 1 by means of plurality of hydraulic rods 3 that actuates to regulate inclination of the platform 2 as per requirement, an inclinometer installed on the body for determining inclination of the surface, moisture sensor installed over the platform 2 to determine presence of moisture over the platform 2, a speaker 5 installed with the frame 1 to generate a voice notification to notify the user to regulate weight distribution over the platform 2, a motorized ball and socket joint 7 is installed between each of the rod and platform 2 to regulate inclination of the platform 2 in accordance with the evaluated angle, and suction units 6 are configured beneath the frame 1 to affix the frame 1 with the inclined surface."
