MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411024719 A) filed by Sanskriti University, Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, on March 27, 2024, for 'boring pipes fastening device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Karunendra Singh; and Sohan Lal.
The application for the patent was published on Oct. 31, under issue no. 44/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A boring pipes fastening device, comprising an elongated telescopically operated frame 1 positioned in contact with a first and second boring pipe positioned one over another, a C-shaped motorized expandable clamp 2 installed with the frame 1 for gripping the first pipe, an imaging unit 3 mounted on the frame 1 for detecting free-end of the second pipe, a body 4 installed on the frame 1 for accommodating chain, a telescopically operated gripper 5 configured with the frame 1 for gripping and accommodating the chain around the second pipe, a pair of primary motorized sprockets 6 installed within the body 4 for rotating the chain, a pair of secondary sprockets 7 installed within the body 4 for engaging the secondary sprockets 7 with the chain and a chamber 8 installed on the to open for dispensing a lubricating solution on the pipes to allow fastening of the pipes."
