MUMBAI, India, June 27 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202547058794 A) filed by Taiheiyo Engineering Corporation, Tokyo, on June 19, for 'burner.'

Inventor(s) include Kumakura Seiichi; and Yamamoto Yasushi.

The application for the patent was published on June 27, under issue no. 26/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Provided is a burner that reduces the primary air quantity while maintaining a high momentum, has a reduced total weight, and also is less likely to be misaligned. The burner (1) is provided with a cylindrical body (1a), a cylindrical cavity (1b) penetrating through the body (1a) in the axial direction thereof, and a flow path (1c) disposed outside the cavity (1b). Fuel (F) and primary air (A1) flow through the flow path (1c), and secondary air (A2) flows in the axial direction inside the cavity (1b) and along an outer peripheral surface (1d) of the body (1a). The transverse plane of the flow path (1c) can be ring-shaped. The burner (1) can be hung from above and can be moved in the axial direction of the burner (1)."
