MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202414097155 A) filed by Kabushiki Kaisha Toshiba, Tokyo, on Dec. 9, 2024, for 'busbar, battery module, and manufacturing method of battery module.'
Inventor(s) include Takashi Obara; Tatsumi Matsuo; Hiroki Matsushita; Shinya Tanikawa; Seishiro Matsumura; Kyohei Matsumoto; Akhil Venkata Mothukuru; and Ryousuke Kasaya.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "In an embodiment, a busbar includes a plurality of connector plate portions. Each of the connector plate portions is joined to a terminal of a corresponding one of a plurality of batteries. Each of one or more of connector plate portions includes a plate main body and a movable portion, and a through hole passes through the plate main body from an upper plate surface to a lower plate surface. The movable portion is attached to the plate main body with being movable along the through hole, and a protrusion amount of the movable portion from the lower plate surface changes in accordance with movement of the movable portion along the through hole. The movable portion is joined to the terminal together with the plate main body, with the protrusion amount from the lower plate surface being adjusted."
