MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411026003 A) filed by Chandigarh University; and Chandigarh University Technology Business Incubator, Mohali, Punjab, on March 29, 2024, for 'bush shredding assistive device.'

The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A bush shredding assistive device comprises a pair of U-shaped bodies 1, associated with the device, developed to be accommodated around front forks of a bicycle, a laser sensor configured with each of the bodies 1 for detecting diameter of the front forks, a C-shaped motorized expandable clamp 2 to expand for gripping the front forks, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 3 mounted on each of the bodies 1 for detecting the path, a motorized hinge 6 configured between each of the bodies 1 and blades for tilting and deploying a blade, a plate 7 installed with each of the bodies 1 via an L-shaped telescopically operated link 8 and equipped with plurality of tines 9 in order to prevent bending of the stems."
