MUMBAI, India, Nov. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531011191 A) filed by Siksha O Anusandhan, Bhubaneswar, Orissa, on Feb. 10, for 'butter inspection device.'
Inventor(s) include Dr. Sikata Samantaray.
The application for the patent was published on Nov. 28, under issue no. 48/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A butter inspection device comprising, a cylindrical housing 101 having a motorized roller 102 containing a spool of strap, attached on an upper surface of the housing 101, an open end of the strap 103 is attached with the upper surface for a securing of the housing 101 onto a hand of a user, a transparent elongated hollow cylindrical member 104 attached on a hydraulic pusher 105 for inserting into butter for collecting a sample of the butter within the member 104, from a container, a colour sensor for detecting a colour of the butter in the member 104, a speaker 106 to generate an audio alert for the user regarding a discolored butter, a force sensor detects a force applied by the hydraulic pusher 105 to insert the member 104 in the butter to determine a viscosity of the butter."
