According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a button manufacturing device, comprising a housing 1 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, a chamber 3 for storing multiple sea shells utilized for manufacturing button, a touch enabled screen 4 for inputting command regarding button diameter and thickness to be manufactured, a telescopically operated gripper 5 for transferring sea shell within a vessel 6, a telescopically operated link 7 attached with a hole saw cutter 8 for cutting sea shell, an expandable pulley 9 arrangement installed within cutter 8 for expanding diameter of cutter 8 to cut shell, a motorized grinding wheel 12 for grinding each side of sea shell, a motorized drilling unit 14 to drill a pair of holes on the shell to manufacture button, a container 15 stored with a chemical solution for polishing button, a vibrating unit installed on sieve 19 for filtering button from solution."
