According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "C-Thru is an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) based campus walkthrough system that allows users to explore educational institutions remotely before physically visiting them. The system combines 360 panoramic imaging, real-time 3D rendering, interactive navigation, and intelligent information overlays within a unified VR framework. The platform enables prospective students, parents, and visitors to virtually walk through classrooms, laboratories, libraries, hostels, auditoriums, and other campus facilities. Using VR headsets or standard web/mobile interfaces, users can navigate the campus environment interactively. Unlike traditional video tours or static image galleries, C-Thru provides spatial awareness, depth perception, and interactive exploration. The system integrates a real-time rendering engine (such as Unity or Unreal Engine), AI-based navigation assistance, and cloud-hosted infrastructure for scalable access. Experimental deployment indicates improved user engagement and decision confidence compared to conventional digital brochures or 2D tours. The system runs efficiently on consumer-grade devices while remaining scalable for institutional deployment."
