MUMBAI, India, Oct. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411027209 A) filed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on April 2, 2024, for 'cam guided foldable worktable for operator console.'
Inventor(s) include Jainendra Kumar; and Arun Kumar Jain.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "CAM guided foldable worktable for Operator Console is for additional operator to use as and when required. Invention provides an extended I worktable(1) with double folding about two perpendicular axes, results in 270 cumulative rotation. goo rotation about longitudinal axis(14), guided by specially designed CAM(4) and 180 rotation about transverse axis(13) through Pivot Bracket(12). Cam(4) having CAM profile (25) to hold pin(?) inside it and move as per CAM profile(25) to achieve desired movement. Rectangular Tube(6) is attached to extended worktable (1) also having inbuilt slot to accommodate CAM(4) and Pin(?). Support brackets(17) installed on structural console(20) provides extra support to RectanguiJr . I Tube (6). Curved Bracket(8) having contour adapted to structural Consolfl (20) used to attach Tubular support assembly(2) with console(20). I Challenges was to maintain available space in aisle and effective work surface of Console."
