MUMBAI, India, Aug. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517073584 A) filed by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Guangdong, China, on Aug. 1, for 'camera driving motor, camera module, and electronic device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 22, under issue no. 34/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of photography of electronic devices, and provide a camera driving motor, a camera module, and an electronic device. Provided is a driving motor which can increase the focusing speed and improve the focusing stability. The camera driving motor comprises: a seat, a carrier, and a focusing structure, wherein the focusing structure connects the carrier and the seat, the focusing structure comprises a first coil and a first magnet, the first coil is an annular structure, one of the first coil and the first magnet is fixed on the seat, the other one of the first coil and the first magnet is fixed on the carrier, and the first coil surrounds the seat or the carrier in the circumferential direction; and a guide shaft, wherein the axial direction of the guide shaft is consistent with the optical axis direction of a lens, the guide shaft is fixed relative to the seat, the carrier is slidably connected to the guide shaft, and the carrier has a first surface and a second surface which are in slide fit with the guide shaft. When the focusing structure drives the carrier to move relative to the seat along the optical axis of the lens, the guide shaft is in contact with the first surface and the second surface, and the carrier slides in the axial direction of the guide shaft to implement focusing."
