MUMBAI, India, May 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517029059 A) filed by Lg Energy Solution, Ltd., Seoul, Republic of Korea, on March 27, for 'cathode for all-solid-state battery, and all-solid-state battery comprising same.'
Inventor(s) include Oh, Kyungbae; Kwon, Hyejin; Kim, Myeongsoo; Kim, Sohee; Lee, Choonghyeon; Choi, Seokin; and Kang, Sora.
The application for the patent was published on May 30, under issue no. 22/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The present invention relates to a cathode for an all-solid-state battery, and an all-solid-state battery comprising same. More specifically, the present invention exhibits physical properties in which the ratio of electronic conductivity to ionic conductivity of a cathode active material layer included in a cathode is in the range of 0.5 to 1.5, and thus an all-solid-state battery including the cathode can have improved battery performance such as that for lifespan characteristics and high-rate characteristics."
The patent application was internationally filed on Aug. 12, 2024, under International application No.PCT/KR2024/011956.
