Intellectual Property India Publishes Patent Application for 'Cell Labeling And Annotation In Micro-Organospheres' Filed by Xilis, Inc.

MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202517080702 A) filed by Xilis, Inc., Durham, U.S.A., on Aug. 26, for 'cell labeling and annotation in micro-organospheres.'

Inventor(s) include Wang, Zhaohui; Shen, Xiling; Bankaitis, Eric; and Steele, Shaun.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "Methods and materials for labeling and annotating live cells in MicroOrganoSpheres (MOS), and methods for assessing MOS containing labeled live cells, are provided herein. The methods being applied for use in detecting treatments for diseases, particularly cancer, in mammals."
