MUMBAI, India, Sept. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202544021664 A) filed by Honda Motor Co. Ltd., Tokyo, on March 11, for 'centrifugal fan structure.'

Inventor(s) include Makimoto Takuya; and Oana Mineyasu.

The application for the patent was published on Sept. 26, under issue no. 39/2025.

According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A centrifugal fan (43) includes a plurality of blades (71) spaced apart in a circumferential direction on a boss portion (61) attached to an end of a rotating shaft (31), each blade (71) including a blade enlarged diameter portion (71a) which expands in diameter radially outward relative to a base side of the boss portion (61). The centrifugal fan (43) further includes: a first wall portion (82) which connects blade outer peripheral edges of the blades (71) excluding the blade enlarged diameter portion (71a) to each other; and a second wall portion (83) which connects blade outer peripheral edges of the blade enlarged diameter portions (71a) of the blades (71) to each other, and the first wall portion (82) and the second wall portion (83) are connected in a direction of a rotation axis."
