MUMBAI, India, Sept. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202411014163 A) filed by Ika - Werke Gmbh & Co. Kg, Staufen, Germany, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'centrifuge.'
Inventor(s) include Kaufmann, Axel; and Pazhaniyandi, Krishnamoorthy Dharmaraj.
The application for the patent was published on Sept. 12, under issue no. 37/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "The invention relates to a centrifuge (1) having a housing (27), a working chamber (3) formed in the housing (27) for accommodating a driven rotor (24) of the centrifuge (1) and having a lid (2) with which the working chamber (3) can be closed, wherein the centrifuge (1) has a closing mechanism (4) which is designed to pull the lid (2) out of a transfer position into a closed position closing the working chamber (3)."
