MUMBAI, India, Aug. 29 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202441014217 A) filed by JAIN, Bangalore, Karnataka, on Feb. 27, 2024, for 'charger management device.'

The application for the patent was published on Aug. 29, under issue no. 35/2025.
According to the abstract released by the Intellectual Property India: "A charger management device, comprises of a cylindrical hollow body 1 developed to accommodate a charger adapter, a set of pneumatic blocks 8 for gripping the adapter in a secured manner, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 2 for detecting the presence of the cord of the charger, a motorized clipper 3 for gripping the cord, a circular motorized slider 9 for rotating the cord and wrap the cord around the outer periphery of the body 1, a motorized hinge 5 for tilting a C-shaped member 4 to lock the cord and prevent any undesired unwrapping of the cord, a microphone 6 to give input commands for unwrapping the cord of the charger, and a speaker 7 to notify the user to turn off the charger."
